Lighting check
From an early age, an interest in wilderness adventure and the documentation process led me to a passion for film and photography. After finishing high school I completed a degree in Fine Arts at Sydney University before working professionally as a focus puller for six years. This gave me the opportunity to work on many different sets with a broad range of equipment, but crucially gave me the opportunity to observe Australia’s most talented cinematographers up close. I learnt from their style and inspired, I started to shoot short films.
Filmmaking took me around Australia and introduced me to a full range of production styles, including documentaries, corporate productions, tv commercials, film clips, and features. In early 2008 I graduated from AFTRS with a MA in Cinematography.
